The Kellogg Club Swim Team has a rich history of being the cornerstone of the summer season at the pool. Over 85% of our children are on the swim team. For a new member, this is a great way to make new friends and immerse your family in the KC culture.
We are a summer program with goals to have fun, learn skills and be a team member. Our program is instructional, but we also have state and nationally ranked swimmers.
SWIM TEAM SEASON
Welcome to the 2026 KC Swim Team!
Parent Information Meeting will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 4:00pm at the main entrance of the pool.
The cost is $150 per swimmer (includes the coaches' tips). Pay online or drop off a check at the mansion's mailbox (next to front door). No swimmer can participate until registration is completed and paid in full.

KC Swimsuit:
The KC Swimsuit is back for a second year. The item for boys is the Arena Escape Jammer in Navy and for girls is the Arena Escape Lightdrop Female Suit in Navy. To purchase a new suit, you can go to: California Beach Hut (In Denville) - try in person or order online.

Swim Team Schedule 2026:
Practice Schedule:
Swim Team Practice is Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in June and July.
Practice starts Monday June 15th and ends Thursday July 23rd.
***No practice on Wednesdays due to the swim meets, except the first week. No formal practices on Fridays.***
Monday, Tuesday & Thursday starting June 15 through July 23: No practice on July 4th.
(Meets will generally be on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.)
4:00pm-5:00pm: 8 and under
5:00pm-6:00pm: 10 and under
6:00pm-7:00pm: 11 and older
For families that have multiple children, you have the option to follow the above schedule or keep your children together at practices. If families choose to keep children together, the younger sibling will swim up unless they are an 8 and under. For example: if a family has two children, one being 10 years old and one being 7 years old, the 10 year old will swim in the 8 and under age group. If a family has two children, one being 9 years old and one being 12 years old, the 9 year old will swim up in the 11/12 age group/11 and over age group.
Meet Schedule:
Meets will take place on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings as follows:
Wednesdays: Warm Ups start at 5:30pm. Meets start at 6:00pm. Event-Relays, Free & Breast.
Saturdays: Warm Ups start at 8:30am. Meets start at 9:00am. Event-Relays, Free, Back & Fly.
The first meet starts June 20th and ends on July 22. A select Round Robin event will be held on July 25.

Parent Volunteering Sign Up
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO RUN MEETS. Please sign up to help share the work among the families. Training/ Instruction for each volunteer job will be provided - NO experience necessary.
Swim team families can earn up to 3 work bond credits annually through hours volunteered with swim team.
Two meets = 1 work bond credit.

The Swim Team Banquet will be held on Sunday, July 26th at 4pm. Dinner will be provided and BYOB. After dinner, we will be having desserts and awards by the pool. We need volunteers to bring desserts, waters and juices and help with set up and clean up. Sign up TBD.

Swim Team Registered Chaperone
A Swim Team Chaperone is an adult chaperone who transports a Swim Team Member under the age of 12 years old to/from a Swim Team practice and monitors the children during the practice. Members who have children participating on the Swim Team and require a Swim Team Registered Chaperone are required to pre-register their Swim Team Chaperone by sending an email to: swimteam@kelloggclub.org.
Swim Team Coaches
Casey Clark - Head Coach
Casey has been our assistant coach for the past 2 years and is returning as Head Coach. Casey is from Chatham, NJ and will be a junior at Boston College in the fall. Casey is majoring in Psychology and Neuroscience on the Pre-Med Track. Casey has always had a passion for swimming, and she enjoyed swimming for her high school team for all four years and on the Madison YMCA club swim team for ten years. Casey has liked connecting with and mentoring her younger swim team members throughout her swim team journey, which led her to lifeguard and teach swim lessons at her hometown pool over the past four years. Casey is very excited to help out on the Kellogg Swim Team as the Assistant Swim Coach for a second season this summer!
Apprentice Coaches- We offer an apprentice program for junior coaches. These are unpaid positions. They are usually High School Swimmers that want to enter the coaching profession, and this is a great way to build their resume. Given our large number of young swimmers, these coaches are vital to our swimmers' learning. If you are interested, contact Jenn Cromie or Caitlin McInerny at swimteam@kelloggclub.org
